UK: Panasonic is participating in a series of events across the UK explaining its low carbon heat pump technology to further education college lecturers.

The heat pump manufacturer is taking part in the Sparks magazine’s Meet the Manufacturer days across the UK in January and February.

By visiting Further Education Colleges across the UK, Panasonic aims to help college lecturers and faculty members to increase their knowledge and experience of low carbon solutions by providing details of its R&D programme, training seminars and technology developments for low carbon heating.

Richard Bishop, head of marketing for UK and Ireland commented: “I believe we can help the UK meet its low carbon targets through supporting and advising the FE College lecturers who can pass on this knowledge to their students in each region. Switching technologies from traditional systems powered by mains gas, oil or lpg to an air source heat pump such as the Panasonic Aquarea range, can deliver significant cost savings, improvements to heating performance and low sound levels.

“With heat pumps hitting the media headlines and following on from COP26, we have recently a seen a huge increase in demand from both homeowners and installers for more information and first-hand training,” he added.
