JAPAN: Daikin has reported sales of JPY1,558,863m ($13,812m) in the six months to the end of September – a 26.8% increase on the same period last year.
The news follows a 2.2% drop in sales last year to JPY2,493,386m (US$23,000m), its first such decline in 11 years.
The latest sales figures have prompted the Japanese manufacturer to increase its sales forecast for the full year ending March 2022 to JPY2,930,000m ($26,000m), which would be a record high.
